Writes of Spring Flyers and Handouts

This flyer and set of handouts was created for print distribution for the Writes of Spring poetry event at a local state college. I also created a digital graphics set for this event, which was displayed on a variety of resolutions and in a variety of aspect ratios across campus. I also created a bookmark for this event, using this design. I edited and composited images sourced from Shutterstock to create the floral arrangement with feather pens and a microphone, which I conceptualized as an appropriate visual representation of the event.

Identifying information is blurred out for legal reasons, but the original design included the college logo and legal statements.

Though I utilize tools such as the Adobe suite, Canva, and web-based alternatives in my work, I actively choose not to utilize AI features and disable them when possible. I also avoid using AI generated images in any of my work that includes preexisting media. I am strictly opposed to the use of AI in art production, writing, and all other creative fields, and am currently searching for alternatives to industry standard products that use AI. I do not consent to the use of my work in generative AI algorithms or for any other AI training purposes.
