Social Media Posts - Zx3 Artistry | Tattoo and Beauty Bar
These are a few social media promotional posts and tattoo portfolio compilations I created on behalf of Zx3 Artistry | Tattoo and Beaty Bar. All tattoos were created by either Zoe Litz or Noelle Turner. The Zx3 Artistry brand and all associated logos were created and are property of CEO Zoe Litz. I utilized both artists' existing illustrations, as well as photographs of tattoos, along with online image databases (Unsplash, Canva, and Vecteezy) for additional imagery and graphics. Though I did not produce any of the illustrations in the posts included in this entry, I did create all of the designs, edit images for consistent lighting, spacing, and to eliminate artifacts, and wrote and conceptualized all language associated with these posts. The idea to do themed social media portfolio compilations was also my own.
Though I utilize tools such as the Adobe suite, Canva, and web-based alternatives in my work, I actively choose not to utilize AI features and disable them when possible. I also avoid using AI generated images in any of my work that includes preexisting media. I am strictly opposed to the use of AI in art production, writing, and all other creative fields, and am currently searching for alternatives to industry standard products that use AI. I do not consent to the use of my work in generative AI algorithms or for any other AI training purposes.
Script, 1. This was a typography-focused design for a typography compilation.
Moths and Butterflies, 1. The featured tattoo was done by Zoe Litz, and Zoe Litz and Noelle Turner produced the moth illustrations. The typography arrangements and design, photo editing and language, are mine - with the help of Encyclopedia Britannica.
Moths and Butterflies, 2. I did quite a bit of research into lepidoptera for this post, and wrote the factoids myself. I curated the images used from the artists' portfolios.
Moths and Butterflies, 3. The world, as the great pumpkin bards remind us, is a vampire.
The first page of the July Tattoo Review. I chose the flowers and colors to represent July - ruby and larkspur. I heavily edited the images included, which I sourced from the Canva database. Butterfly and flowers tattoo by Noelle Turner.
