My latest stop motion puppet - meet Fresno! Character design based on the Fresno Nightcrawlers. He is fully articulable all the way up his spine and neck, being the most flexible puppet I have made to date. Under his cute little hoodie, he’s made of foam and wire. He is my first attempt at a tie-down puppet, and I find that he serves his purpose rather well. I look forward to making more, as part of a North American Crytpids series. He is freestanding, but his feet are designed to hold screws to tie him down to a platform for walking. The eyes are premade doll eyes, and the clothes are crocheted and stuffed by me. I rooted his hair using crochet yarn and a quilting needle.
